GRIDLIFE Midwest Fest 2023
From the pits to the paddock, GRIDLIFE Festivals never fail to showcase the enthusiasm of the car community and the spirit of grassroots racing. A premier event of the GRIDLIFE season, Midwest Fest hosted at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, Michigan, presented a schedule jam-packed with drift car ride-alongs, track battles, live music, and even a laser light show.
Track-Record Reset
Among the multitude of drivers representing MOMO on the track, Feras Qartoumy stole the show in his carbon fiber C7 Corvette, resetting the overall track record at Gingerman Raceway and securing first place with a time of 1:23.2. "I've been striving to achieve this for three years now, and somehow always fell short," Qartoumy recounted. After three years of persistence, Feras' accomplishment will be etched in the history books as both a GRIDLIFE lap record and the fastest overall lap at Gingerman Raceway.
